RECAP: Balgog getting the soccer ball treatment from Miguel. Miguel winning and being reunited with Onyok. Crisanto getting closer to Isabel.

NOW:

Miguel thanks Tano, the old man, profusely as Onyok bids farewell to the zombie-like children, who give him a small egg as a parting gift.

Miguel expresses his sadness that he would be leaving Libaran without at least knowing what Tano looks like. In response the old man waves his palm over Miguel's face, and light twinkle in the orbs of his eyes.

He can see!

Miguel even jokes Onyok when he finally lays eyes on the boy. ("Magkasingguwapo lang pala tayo, eh.")

Tano leads them to a large tree with light shining on its bark. Tano explains that this was the spot where Miguel threw the tooth-like stone (which turns out to be a seed) that Tano had given him when he first came to Libaran. The tree, and the light, is the portal to the mortal world.

Onyok climbs ahead, followed by Miguel. Suddenly, Tano spots the Babaylan coming and runs away. The Babaylan then clings to Miguel's leg, stopping his ascent (reminiscent of Miguel's escape from the cave when Balgog awoke). The Babaylan pulls harder, saying Miguel is hers.

Miguel yells at Onyok to go on and save himself. Through the portal of light Miguel spots Father Francis peering down at the black ball. He holds on to Onyok as Father Francis pulls the boy out, Miguel with him.

Back on solid ground, Miguel is slightly disoriented and blinks again. He is back to being blind, and this is remarked upon by Onyok. Pikoy scoffs upon hearing this, asking Onyok since when did Miguel see. Besides, he adds, Miguel is more good-looking if he is blind. Father Francis comforts him, saying blindness is not a hindrance for Miguel.

Disappointment appears on Miguel's face. He is clearly dismayed, for he had hoped to see Isabel's face at last.

Then, Pikoy notices Miguel only has one shoe.

His other shoe is left at Libaran, and the red-caped figure (the woman who has pined for Conde Vergonze ages ago) picks it up, a mysterious smile appearing on her face.

Miguel and Onyok enter the orphanage and is met with jubilation. Amelia runs to hug Miguel and he lets her, even sparing her a warm and relieved smile in the process.

At the Binhilan's headquarters, the doctor tells Amante that his lookalike has nothing to do with him, and that he is not a twin. Perhaps, he agrees, but not without a note of skepticism in his voice and face. As Samuel sees the doctor out of the house, Amante stares hard at the photographs.

When Samuel returns he reinforces his lies to Amante, that he has no reason to doubt his parentage, that he is his and Denise's son. Amante apologizes for having doubted, and Samuel forgives him, saying they have to focus on the matter at hand: to bring the Apo back to life. They have to find the Alay.

At Bernie's home, Isabel turns around and Crisanto manages to keep his left arm hidden just in time. Isabel's surprise shows as she recognizes Crisanto as the man who saved her and Miguel at the cave. Even Crisanto seems shocked.

Lola Giray arrives and introductions are put into order. When Lola Giray hears that he was savior at the cave, she asks him what he is doing in that place. Hastily Crisanto explains that he is an archaelogist studying the KAragayans, Binhi-lan and Apo Abukay. He then asks Isabel the same question; what was she and Miguel doing at the cave.

He looks at her strangely, saying he remembers he found her beside the corpse of Apo Abukay, with her arm bleeding...Lola Giray interrupts his flow of words, and begins rambling on about Isabel losing her way.

When Lola Giray and Isabel leaves the kitchen, Crisanto remains standing there, suspicions forming in his mind.

Back at the orphanage, Miguel has just finished changing when Amelia enters his room and offers him something to eat. Calmly but not rudely Miguel tells her not to mind him much, that she should not tire herself from serving him. Besides, he can handle himself, and he is not used to being served. Amelia tells him that she is here now, and he softly rebutts it, saying it is already overdue, since he can be by himself already.

He leaves Amelia in search of Isabel.

He knocks on the door of Isabel's room and enters when he did not get any response. When he enters the empty room he senses it was already vacant. Pikoy comes in, telling him that Isabel is already gone, having left the orphanage with Lola Giray and Dario the night the monsters attacked.

In pained shock Miguel asks Pikoy where they went but his best friend has no idea.

Later, while Father Francis delegates their duties for the services of their dead loved ones, Andoy pins the blame on Miguel, saying it was him who was the monsters' target. Miguel takes the words quietly, with remorse in his face.

Father Francis intervenes, saying no one is to blame for what has happened, and they should just help one another. Miguel listens in silence as the others loudly contemplated the return of the monsters.

In the children's room, Letlet and Onyok are chatting. He shows her the tiny egg the kids in Libaran gave him as a parting gift. Meanwhile, in Libaran, the Babaylan is stomping her feet in frustration. No one escapes from her, but Miguel and the kid just did.

She asks her minions where the magic egg is and when she hears that it was given to the human boy, she laughs in elation. They still had not escaped her powers after all.

Alone again, Miguel touches King's toy gun, remembering his moments with the kid. Father Francis joins him, once again reassuring him that it was not any of his fault and that if Miguel was not there, there would have been more casualties.

Miguel replies that what Andoy said is partly true, and that he no longer wants any more lives wasted over him. Then accept your destiny of being the Sugo, the priest says, and Miguel finally relents. He admits that since King died, he has vowed to accept that he is the Sugo.

"I won't let that happen," Amelia says forcefully from behind, listening in on their conversation.

Back at the Karagayan mansion Graciela catches Rebecca trying to sneak out of the house. When she asks where Rebecca is headed, the young lady replies she will go back to Tito Samuel. Graciela tries to plead with her, but Rebecca tells her coldly that just because Graciela took care of her does not mean that she has softened towards her. Anyway, a maid can do it.

Adela appears, demanding what is going on.

Across town, Amante is speeding on his bike in the night streets. His orders are clear, to find the Alay, but since Isabel is also an Alay (a fact he firmly believes), he will look for Isabel, too.

Behind him is the car driven by Adan. At a traffic light they both stop. Slowly Amante turns his head and meets those of Adan's in the car next to his bike......

TEASER:
- Miguel telling Amelia that she has lost all her rights over his life when she abandoned him.
- Rebecca demanding to know why Tito Samuel would kill him, and Graciela replying about the tradeoff of her life with that of the Apo's.
- Adan shooting, presumably at Amante....

Episode Summary by Jeffer

RECAP: Babaylan observing Miguel, declaring that it is him, the only man she has ever loved. Old Man screaming at Miguel to get up. Adan losing his temper with his two men. Onyok a virtual yoyo. Graciela telling Bernie she has found her daughter, and Graciela and Isabel sharing a look.

NOW:

Graciela and Isabel stare at each other a long time. When Isabel finally leaves the scene, a befuddled Graciela turns to look back at Bernie.

In Libaran, Miguel is in intense pain. Seeing this, the Old Man draws his last leaf (dahon ng Sinenses, where the Old Man derives his strength) and gives it to Miguel, ordering him to chew it. Trusting the Old Man, Miguel obeys.

After he chews it, he has renewed strength, and is ready to fight again.

At the orphanage, the atmosphere is uncomfortable, and Pikoy is easily scared. A knock comes on the door and everyone rejoices that it is Father Francis, back at last. Everyone tries to fill him in with everything that has happened. When he asks where Miguel is, Letlet tells him he has been sucked into the black ball, together with Onyok and the monster.

Letlet brings him to where the black ball is, left on the ground. When he tries to touch it, the little girl stops her, lest he also be sucked in.

At Bernie's home, Graciela tells him she would have brought Rebecca along but she is not feeling so well. Suddenly, Crisanto enters the room and an elated reunion follows, with Graciela remarking on Crisanto's unchanged appearance.

She asks him what has happened and he lightly asks her if she would believe him if he says he has found the tomb of Apo Abukay? Graciela goes cold all over at the mention of the Apo's name, but Crisanto simply leaves, smiling at her reaction, unaware of the real reasons behind it.

In the Balanak the tables have turned. Balgog's attempts at hitting and hurting Miguel prove futile as his blows merely bounce off the blind man. It is like hitting a brick wall, and when Miguel taunts him if that is all he could come up with, Balgog roars in frustration. Miguel steals the ball and scores. This goes on, with Miguel in top form and Balgog finally losing ground.

Amid the crowd the Old Man tenses, remembering that Miguel's time is running out. He tells Miguel to hurry before he runs out of time and he could never leave Libaran. Miguel goes back to the game with more urgency.

Back in the real world, Samuel enters a room and looks at the statues representing the sentries of Apo Abukay. To his shock, Karuma's small statue is shattered, which means only one thing: Karuma is dead. He wonders who might have killed the Scorpion Man, and remembers Amante's lookalike.

Later, Amante comes home with Luis, who has just been discharged from the hospital, and they are welcomed by Samuel. When Luis inquires as to Rebecca's whereabouts, Amante informs him that she is with her mother, Graciela. Luis is astounded that Graciela is indeed back, and more surprised that Rebecca has agreed to be with her, considering her hatred for her mother. Luis even goes as far as vowing to kill Graciela when he sees her.

When Luis goes to his room to rest, Samuel tells Amante that Karuma is dead, and he suspects that his doppelganger was the slayer. Amante says nothing while Samuel tells him this. He then asks his dad what they will do next, and Samuel coldly tells him to kill Miguel, and then kill Amelia.

Across town, Father Francis goes through old books until he finds out what he is looking for. The Babaylan, the powerful priestess/mangkukulam who owns the black ball.

Meanwhile, Rebecca's cough intensifies and Graciela is the doting mother, fussing over Rebecca, who secretly relishes the attention she is receiving from her mother.

Back at the Binhi-lan home, Amante catches Luis alone and asks him point-blank if he is really his Dad and Mom's son. Luis is quiet, and Amante demands why he cannot answer his question. As if on cue, Samuel arrives and asks what they are talking about. Amante replies nothing, and leaves.

When Amante has gone, Samuel turns to Luis and warns him not to ever make the mistake of telling Amante the truth, or else. Luis replies by saying that Amante might not find out the truth from him, but from someone else. (Walang bahong hindi nangangamoy).

Clearly troubled, Samuel calls a techie guy named Erwin and pays him to manipulate some photographs of a couple at a hospital with a new baby, putting his and Denise's face over the originals.

In another part of town Adan undergoes intense training. When he receives a hit from his counterpart, he realizes he needs more. He then sends his two men to go to a certain address to pick up a certain person who could help him immensely with his training. He tells himself that he could not lose, as he is the Sugo.

Back in Libaran, as an act of desperation, Balgog crouches and turns himself into a mace. But Miguel cleanly kicks him off the arena, bouncing off spectators.

In her honored seat, the Babaylan realizes that Miguel had a leaf of Sinenses, hence his renewed strength.

As a final blow, Miguel hits Balgog on the groin, sending the monster to his knees. Finally he wins the match, Onyok is freed and they are reunited.

Amante arrives home to find a guest with his dad: Doctor Lila Reyes, the one who assisted Denise when she gave birth to Amante. She remarks at how grown up Amante looked, and so handsome. Good-naturedly Samuel jokes who else would Amante take from?

She even brought pictures and Amante listens in wordlessly to the conversation of Samuel and the doctor as they took a walk along memory lane. Amante looks at the photos and asks if he can have them.

Afterwards, he asks the doctor if he was born a twin. After a while, the doctor replies that he was the only one.

At Bernie's home, it is late in the afternoon and Lola Giray gets the shock of her life when she sees Aida's dead cat under the sink. Her screams make the others rush out to see what it is. Crisanto acts nonchalant while Bernie stares at him with a tinge of doubt and mistrust.

Later that evening Crisanto is awakened with a pain on his arm. It has turned hairy again and has begun pulling him off the bed. He wrestles with it, but it just keeps dragging him along (think IDLE HANDS) until he arrives at the kitchen, where Isabel is busy drying the dishes.

His hairy arm reaches out at the back of Isabel's head. She seems to sense something, and slowly turns to look behind her....

TEASERS:
- Rebecca demanding to know why they would want to kill her since they have been protecting her all her life. Graciela saying they will kill her in order to revive Apo Abukay.
- The doctor telling Amante that his lookalike has nothing to do with him.
- Lola Giray opening the gate to find Graciela and Rebecca standing there.

MORE TEASERS:
- Can Miguel ever leave Libaran?
- Will Amante ever find the Alay?
- Crisanto asking if Isabel is the Alay, and a tearful Isabel asking questions (again!)

Episode Summary by Jeffer

RECAP: Miguel falling down and calling Balgog "pikon". Samuel finding out Graciela got Rebecca out of prison. Adela reassuring Amelia about Miguel. Balgog dominating Balanak as Onyok pleads for help.

NOW:
The Babaylan quietly watches the game under her hood, her eyes trained intently on Miguel, then silently she says, "It's him, the only man I have ever loved."

Flashback. Conde Vergonze is being followed by a woman in a tribal garb, and we see the face of the Babaylan for the very first time. She is clearly smitten with the count, as she watches him from afar, declaring her love for him silently.

Back to the game, Miguel is having major difficulty, blocked repeatedly until he keeps hitting the ground. Having had enough, and spurred by Onyok's frantic pleas, he finally hits back and manages to score a point, lifting the kid a notch higher from the pit.

In the real world, Anita talks to Samuel, asking what she can do to help as he does not seem to be moving at all. Insulted, Samuel snaps back that she could help with her domestic skills. Anita insists she can fight, too and he bluntly states that she would only lose. Put out, Anita points out how Rebecca and the bracelet are missing and asks him to tell her how that does not make him a loser.

In the deserted warehouse where Adan is staying, he orders two men to stand guard outside a door and to never let anyone in. The moment he is gone, the two men, out of curiosity as to what lies behind the door, enters.

Back at the Karagayan mansion, Graciela insists on fixing Rebecca's hair. Saying that since she cannot move her arm, Rebecca lets Graciela have her way. It is slightly obvious, though, that Rebecca relishes having her mom fix her hair. After a while, she is displeased to see the two ponytails fashioned by Graciela, saying it makes her look like a 'nene', retarded even. At Rebecca's insistence, Graciela unties the ponytails.

In the Balanak Miguel is getting battered, and only gets back to his feet at the Old Man's insistence for him to get up, and Onyok's screams for him to save him. Using speed this time, he gets past Balgog and scores another point.

But it is shortlived as this time Balgog uses his mace to repeatedly bash Miguel. Facedown on the ground Balgog rams his mace at Miguel's back until he could no longer get up. A thin man steps in and counts down. At the count of four, the Babaylan declares the game is over, and the human/earthling (tagalupa) is hers. Miguel passes out.

In the real world, Samuel calls Sandra and later pays her a visit in her apartment. Considering how they parted the last time they met (Sandra hitting Samuel at the back of the head with a gun and leaving him in the cottage unconscious), they are surprisingly polite and civil to one another.

He hands her a gift, and she asks if it is a bribe for leaving her a long time ago. He insists that he has a wife (which leads us to the conclusion that they were lovers while Samuel is already married to Denise) and also has major responsibilities to think of, to the business, to his family, to his clan especially.

Sandra kisses him but gets shocked when he is unresponsive and seemingly unmoved. Briskly he says they talk business and asks her to get the bracelet for her.

Frustrated, she asks what is it about the bracelet that he wants it so much and he replies his clan owns it, and he will pay her however much she wants.

In the warehouse, the two men sees Romeo's body. Adan returns and catches them red-handed. Angry for having his orders disobeyed, he lets out two shots but does not hit the two, instead ordering them out of the room.

Back in Libaran, the Old Man's screams gets through the cloud in Miguel's mind and he slowly gets back up to his feet with renewed strength. This time he manages to kick Balgog and preps to fight mano a mano if need be. In anger, even the acting referee is not spared of Balgog's fist.

However, Miguel is once again sent sprawling on the ground, and he yells, "Hoy, taba! Gusto mo, litsunin kita?"

Back in the outside world, Isabel and Lola Giray are elated at Dario's new - and better - job as Bernie's driver. When Dario goes to Bernie's house, he meets James and become instant friends. When he hears about them being shorthanded, he pitches in that his grandmother and sister are looking for a job. At this, Bernie asks Dario to call them to his home.

Meanwhile, in Sandra's apartment, Samuel hands her the surveillance tape of the Karagayan siege at the condo building, saying the same people are the ones who have the bracelet. When he asked her how much she will charge, she playfully tells him that maybe it is not money she wants. He looks somber and she says they will talk payment when the job is done.

At the Karagayan mansion Graciela informs Rebecca that she will be leaving for a while to go to Bernie's, and asks her daughter not to leave. Rebecca replies by saying how can she leave when she can barely move her limbs. When Graciela asks what pasalubong she wants, Rebecca sarcastically says she wants the comets, the stars, Mars, Jupiter...can she give her that?

Quietly Graciela kisses her and leaves after tucking her into bed.

Isabel and Lola Giray, in awe of the opulence of BErnie's house, are welcomed warmly by Bernie and the lone maid Aida. When they were shown to their rooms, Graciela arrives, surprising Bernie, who hugs her tightly.

He asks her why she came only now, and she excitedly tells him she already found her daughter. He asks where, but is interrupted by Isabel coming back to take the tray from the table.

Lukso ng dugo. Isabel walks away but turns to look back just as Graciela's gaze is drawn to her as well....

TEASER:

- Samuel seeing something....(i didnt see it much)
- Graciela seeing Crisanto again.
- Father Francis(YAY! missed him!) reading something about the Babaylan
